Follow the voice from within
Fortunately, this law is two-way; scarcity can be replaced by abundance.
One summer evening, a woman who looked exhausted, dejected, and disheveled approached me for a "declaration of affirmation." She wished she could become wealthy. At the time, all she had was $8.
After listening, I told her, "Great, let's bless that $8 and make it multiply, just as Jesus Christ multiplied the bread and fish." Because he tells us that everyone has the capacity for blessing and multiplication, as well as the capacity for healing and abundance.
She asked, "What should I do next?"
I replied, "Follow your intuition. Do you have a 'premonition' that you want to do something, or go somewhere?" Because intuition is meaningful; it's an inner guide, the most accurate leadership. I will explain the law of intuition in more detail in later chapters.
The woman replied, "I don't know—I seem to have a 'premonition,' a premonition that I want to go home. I only have enough money for a taxi." Her home was in a faraway, impoverished city. Purely rationally, she should have stayed in New York and found a job to earn money.
I told her, "Then go home! Don't go against your intuition." Then, as she was leaving, I said the following words to her and told her to remember them:
"The infinitely powerful Holy Spirit, please open the way of abundance—she is a powerful magnet that will attract everything God has given her the right to possess."
Later, one day, when she visited a friend, she miraculously received thousands of dollars. Afterwards, when she met me, she excitedly said, "You must tell everyone the story of how I only had $8 when I came to you, and how I gained thousands of dollars by acting on my intuition."
