Money can make anyone work for you.

     At some point, people's ideology shifted from "money makes the world go round" to "money makes people do the work of others." "Money makes the world go round" reflects an aristocratic mindset, while "money makes people do the work of others" reflects a more commoner

    's mindset. While the wealthy may control the world's wealth, the truth of the world must be upheld by the masses. Whether the rich are powerful or distorted, their theories, at best, serve their own purposes. They need their own unspoken rules for survival, and the poor are no exception. The rich and the poor are both human, and as human beings, they need a current philosophy of survival to justify their existence. Thus, "money makes the world go round" and "money makes people do the work of others" have become two different psychological states.
    As human beings, it's difficult to be so aloof as to avoid discussing money. You could consider this a form of self-mockery or a psychological cry from the disadvantaged. Because "money makes the world go round" represents exploitation and manipulation under the powerful—they are the players; "money makes the world go round" represents being exploited and manipulated by the weak. We don't need to delve into the specific meaning of the "ghost" in these two sentences. I'm simply considering the significance of the effect derived from the former in the present world. In the former, the ghost is used by humans; in the latter, humans are used by ghosts. As for whether the "ghost" in the latter's eyes is benevolent or cruel, that's a matter of individual perspective. "Willing to do anything for money" reflects the passivity or narrow-mindedness of the masses. But we cannot unify the thoughts of the masses to a single level.
    As members of the masses, they have their own philosophy of life. They can live humbly but not basely; they can be self-reliant; they can refuse handouts; they can even relinquish valuable possessions to maintain their dignity. But when they face setbacks, they need support. This support isn't necessarily a positive fighting spirit; it could even be a continuation or rebirth of Ah Q's mentality. Because on the path of life, as long as we haven't lost the will to live, our emotions can fluctuate, because life requires detours. As members of the masses, we are ordinary people, we are a vulnerable group, but that doesn't necessarily mean we lack a noble heart. Because a noble heart cannot be cultivated by material possessions; it originates from the depths of humanity.
    The misunderstandings of the human heart often tip the scales of fairness in favor of the temporarily powerful, while ignoring the misfortune or grievances of the weak. Without the premise that "money can make the devil turn the millstone," then "willing to work for money" is merely a figment of imagination or baseless speculation. If we want to eliminate the result, we must remove the cause. Friends, regardless of our social class, when we are too concerned with the concept of money, we lose all sense of compassion and value. Whether you are working for a devil or a devil is working for you, you may get a result—he gets a sum of money! But everything in the process, because there is no compassion, is wiped clean; it's just a transaction. Thus, we lose the meaning we should have as human beings. Such a life is a failure. No matter what you gain, the most important thing is that you have given up so much.
    "Willing to work for money" is not a healthy mentality for ordinary people. It is heavily influenced by short-sighted gains, like killing the goose that lays the golden eggs. Its narrow-mindedness is significant, because only short-sighted people lack such foresight. Our lives encompass much more than just making money. Even if making money is your current priority, we need a broader perspective and wisdom to view it. Our lives will yield different results due to this different level of understanding. Let go of the cause of "money makes the world go round," and let go of the effect of "willing to work for money." By letting go of many things, we can gain many more in life.
