Flowers and People

Falling in love with gardenias. In

gardenia season, the elegant and serene flowers quietly bloom, carrying a touch of shyness.

I planted two pots at home this year, and at this time of year, the yard is filled with fragrance. The not-so-tall branches are adorned with pure white, cloud-like blossoms, standing there gracefully, unassuming and unassuming. After this season, they will have to wait until next year, so their blooming posture is exceptionally noble. This understated yet luxurious beauty, full of vitality, makes me love them.

Gardenias rely on soil for growth, but they can also survive in water. In a transparent glass bottle filled with fresh water, the room is filled with a subtle fragrance, inspiring contemplation. Away from their roots, the flower's life is shortened by a few days, and after its peak of beauty, it gradually withers and fades. In truth, it didn't miss its moment of blooming, and being appreciated is enough. Doing the most suitable thing at the most suitable time is the value of both plants and humans.

Every flower in the world has its own hidden meaning. And the gardenia's? I think it must be this: "Gentleness is the benevolence of a gentleman." Ten years have passed since

    we last met

. The flowing waters of the past have washed away the pebbles on the bank, eroding the faces of yesteryear. When did I meet a long-lost friend again, and the time span I spoke of had become ten years? Is today's face older than last night's? It's vastly different from before.

She has blossomed into a more graceful woman, every gesture exuding feminine charm; the shy, blushing girl of the past is long gone. He now seems more reserved and introverted. He was more outgoing as a child, telling jokes, playing and joking; today, however, he carries a hint of coldness. Everyone's life trajectory is invariably etched on their face.

It turns out that besides secrets, time has also learned to conceal itself. It passes without a trace, quietly sweeping away, and suddenly one day, at an uncontrollable speed, it descends upon you, looking at you with surprise, leaving you utterly powerless.

Your mindset reflects your poverty and wealth over the years. No matter how much money you earn or how long it takes, I only want to keep the heart I once had. Even if my appearance is unrecognizable, my figure becomes fat, and I have no chance of being slim and beautiful, as long as I hold on to it, when we meet again, we can easily recognize each other, hug each other tightly, and shed tears.
